Cool! Very true.. I didn't think about the darkness of tint with a darker or lighter car. Would 35% on the front and back look bad?? I don't know about doing too much of a different percent on each.. don't want it look weird lol.

True, and if you follow that link it says that and tells you other rules, such as no mirrored or metallics.

personally I think getting darker in the back then in the front does look weird. I'd try browsing this thread and see if anyone has tinted a Sterling Gray one just to get a feel of how it would look. I think 35% would be alright on a Sterling even though it really isn't a "dark" color per-se but you can probably pull it off. I wouldn't get anything lighter than 35% or anything darker than 15%. I may even consider 35% on my white Titanium to be honest might go to a few shops this weekend to see.

Look at page 9, I posted pics of my sterling grey hatch with 35% all around.

just got tint

Siver Hatch, I just got Air 80 on the windshield, with ctx 40 on the main side windows and ctx 30 on the quarter and rear.
If I can find how to post pics here I'll do it in the morning.
I think it looks great and so far seems to have really cut the heat gain I have to deal with in the desert.

We got the same thing except I have CTX 30 all around. I love the Air film on the windshield. The car cools down so much quicker and stays comfortable after that.

I have had 5 cars done at Sun Shade Window Tinting in Troy. I was lazy this time and got it done in Ann Arbor. I'm now having to go back to get 2 back windows retinted.
