Sorry to hear you have had quality problems. I have not had any at all. And my car is loaded. MFT with Nav has worked great, as has everything else.

Hopefully yours will get everything corrected.

Well, I was bad today... texting my sales rep at least 3 different times. They didn't get it out of the local train station yet and onto a truck... so no luck for me. Said "don't know where it is until its on a truck".

I will have to keep waiting.

If you buy a $29 do dad from a guy in Utah on ebay you get an email in ten minutes and UPS will email you to tell you every time the truck driver stops to take a crap but your dealer can't tell you where the heck a car is.

Sure they can. My dealer sends me an email almost daily with updates about where my car is. He sends me the screen capture from the Ford tracking system. Now whether they WILL or not is a totally different story. My update today had the location of the last rail yard my Norfolk Southern freight car passed through.

I actually tracked it myself with the csx automated phone number. A nice guy on the forums pm'd me my rail car when it started it's journey from MI to Tampa.

You know, it's 2011, you'd really think Ford and the rest could just get this stuff up on a web page so we could track it ourselves once we got our VIN. There's really no reasonable excuse, we can track $5 packages shipped around the world, why not a $25,000 car?

Ford has to realize that the sales people (and dealerships in general) are the "face" of Ford to the general public. When you get poor customer service that reflects back on Ford in general. Years ago I went into a Toyota dealership to look at the Forerunner. The sales folk were rude, unhelpful, and it was clear I was interrupting their afternoon chat. I've never gone back to Toyota. A little customer service goes a long way, amazing customer service ends up with a life-long customer.

I wonder why we can build our car online to a T but can't order and have it delivered to our doorstep. Cut out the middle-men entirely.
