My best to date,
R/T .... 0.776 60' .... 2.439 330' ... 6.522 1/8 .... 9.811 MPH ... 76.08 1/4 .... 15.027 MPH ....93.88 Running 215/40 16 BFG Euro T/A's (crap tires). Overall diameter is about 22.5". A 215/50 17 is about 25.5". I'm not really sure how diameter plays into times. I do think I need a taller tire though. The tire makes my gear ratios seem way to short. |

If any of you Na guys are serious about getting your times down. go buy some 22in tall slicks. there easy on the drivetrain and will hook. there no reason that guys svt that did a 15 could go low 14s high 13s with slicks

If your running on motor or nitrous you want the smallest diameter tires you can get your hands on. if you are turbo-charged you want a larger diameter tire.
M&H seem to be very popular as well among drag racers. I'm about to drop the Credit Card on a set of 205/60R13(~23X8X13) Street/Strip Tires. Basically Bias Ply Slicks with two grooves cut in them and a D.O.T Marking. I bracket race throughout the summer in the Street Class which requires a D.O.T approved tire. Just food for thought depending on what you are planning to do.

i have a set of 23x8.5-15 M&H's i have yet to get to use them, rains everytime i try to go. after using slicks, i dont want to use street tires ever again lol... night and day.
