Military appreciation is $500.

I would recheck your dealers math. Also there is not $3,000 markup on even a Titanium Focus so the invoice price seems sketchy.

The insternet sales person wrote me an email tonight telling me that Ford will in fact throw in an extra $1,000 for a Ford Focus 2012. Does this sound right? Or are they simply trying to get me back in the door?
There is no trade-in assistance at all on a Focus, the only $1,000 is on a Super Duty. But if they don't know their program then have them put it on the paperwork and it's their fault in my opinion.

Dealer Added Drivers Entry KeyPad and Remote Start.

MSRP $27,885 Invoice $24,485. I gave $25,500 which includes ALL fees. Also they are bringing the car from a dealership 200 miles away and in another state. They are scarce around here! I also get $500 Ford Financing Cash and $1000 Military appriciation cash (new incentive) which brings my price to $23,000.
VIN should be 1FAHP3N21CL174226

MSRP is $26,375
Invoice is $24,769

Remote start is $399 plus $125 for keypad.

Nope Military Appriciation is $1000 through July 5th. My dealer told me about it. Just went to Ford.com and under incentives put in my car, 2012 Focus and zip code and it came right up.

Program # 33472: $1,000.00 Bonus Cash offer thru 7/5/2011

Region specific I suppose, I plug in local offers and it's $500. Good for you then

Yep thats the car! So my total is $25,500 with the remote start and keypad added. No fees that is the total, the incentives come off after that.

I'm looking at a Tuxedo Titanium Sedan with pretty much every option (401A, handling, parking, winter, moonroof, exterior protection, door sills, and nav) and it seems none of the dealers around me (95054) have that combination I think because they don't have the winter package.

My questions:
What's the invoice on that combo?
Any incentives I should know about?
Will I lose bargaining power if I special order?
I know you don't have a crystal ball, but does Ford typically do 4th of July specials?
Sorry, one more question: Can dealers typically do window tinting? Is that something I should ask them about?

Thanks!

Tough to find for sure, I found 1 Titanium with:
-interior styling
-premium paint
-winter pkg
-parking pkg
-18" wheels
-moonroof
-remote start

Invoice on this one is $26,266 with MSRP of $28,135. You should be in the $26,000 range for invoice.

If you order incentives are tough to guarantee based on current inventory, we had 9 Focus' in stock and are now down to 1 in a matter of 1 week. Ford looks at this across the country to determine to increase or decrease incentives plus market share of the segment.

You shouldn't lose bargaining power since you're ordering, the dealer pays no floor plan interest on the vehicle and should make a minimum profit and you should feel like you got a good deal.

Ford is already doing their July 4th promo's, nothing new for Focus besides a 5/100 powertrain and one user here got $1,000 military up from $500 but that is region specific.
