^^ nope she ran..... I drove it into the shop. then back out for a wash, then into another bay before shutting it off. That was how I drove it once in awhile though. I just say NOW it's off because the trans it out of it along with the starter etc.

My mom's 03 has 161,000 miles! No major problems...just an alternator problem around 130,000.

I doubt she really ever floors it...maybe that's the key!

Bought it February 2010 with 73k miles and am now sitting at 102k miles with no issues(knocks on wood). Of course I dont push it hard often. The only time I did is when I drag raced my buddy's Aveo 1.6 e-tech and beat him by half a car length.

Has nothing to do with it. It will go being pushed hard or a granny driving it.

96k on my inherited 02 LX. Sister passed in June and parents don't want to sell it and it's pretty much been setting the last few years due to on going illness. Replacing the egr tube today and the coil next week. Has a starting issue that really can pin point. Although if I ground one of the spark plugs wire it'll fire right up. I did see a small hairline crack in coil today. After I get it started runs and drives like a cadillac. The whole valve seat issue worries me haven't decide what I want to do yet.
