im 18. 5'6 and weigh 158 lbs. Max bench is 255 at the moment. I lack when it comes to lower body. Use to rep 295 in squats when i played football but after breaking my ankle twice and one surgery on it my legs just aren't the same. i can only rep around 165 now. MY dead lift has also decreased.

Although i dont see significant gains in my lower body, my upper body size, and strength is always getting better. Im taking No-explode for a pre workout. Cycle of 6 weeks on 3 weeks off. and take 3-4 whey protein drinks per day.

nope have not tried that. Maybe ill pick it up next. I love testing new supplements!!! gaspari nutrition's protein is awesome too!!

there are 2 power cages in my gym and two douches were using them to bicep curl. This one guy must had done freaking 8 sets or cheat curls. Plus it was the first exercise he did

^^^ When I plateau at a certain weight, I usually like to change it up to sets of 5-3-1 with increasing weight each set. It worked wonders for my deadlift the last couple times. I made the mistake of jumping way too much weight too quickly and I was screwing myself over.

I need to get back into lifting. I used to lift almost every single day and now I havent lifted in maybe a year. I'm 6'0 and 220lbs but if you looked at me you'd think I were more like 160-175. I don't even believe it lol. Anyway I've been looking at different supplements and I want to gain more lean muscle. I really don't want to bulk up, just tone out and get my body fat lower. Any good supplements out there for gaining just lean muscle?

im doing the opposite of you ^^^^

looking to bulk up now. i just ordered myself a stack today that has some pretty decent products

optimum nutrition 100% whey protein
No-Xplode pre workout
sciVation extend BCAA post workout
Optimum nutrition multivitamin
and an omega 3.
