Save up for a good intake such as the Steeda or FSwerks. You won't regret buying a quality part once instead of a crappy one first, only to change it out to the good one later. Trust me, I know.

Per the above comments. The only way to know if an intake is 'good' vs. 'bad' is dataloging. That alone can be fairly expensive. Therefore, a Steeda or FSwerks will save you money as you can trust that they have already done the flow testing. When I built my custom scoop, I managed to screw up the laminar flow through my Steeda SRI. It took lots of testing, dataloging, changes etc. before I got it straightened out. I personally don't think Weapon-R would spend the resources to optimize there intake. Heck, anyone can stick a pipe on there and call it an intake.

Own it, and so far, I like it, put it on my GF's 2.3l Duatec and you could feel the power increase, they say it increases HP by 10-13 with a exhaust, so with a 2.5 diameter exhaust put on, I also noticed a change in sound, I think the exhaust makes it sound deeper combined with this intake, but lately I have been wanting to try a FSwerks intake to see how they compare.

i had an aem in my civic, which was just amazing...it had a nice deep sound to it and it gave a good hp increase, they dont make the v2 aem intake for my ST but they have another aem intake which looks pretty promising that i was looking at, go to aemonly.com and you'll find it, you can't go wrong with the pioneer of the cold air intake :)
