Many incentives say, "Must take from dealer stock during the offer period". As a result, if you are waiting for the car to come in and you miss that offer period, you lose out. Some will lock in an offer, but a lot depends on the dealer and how profitable/generous they are feeling. X-plan will also affect how willing they are to offer "deals", since it can cut into their profits.

I have a question about the 17" polished alloy wheel option...do those have a factory clear coat or are they bare metal?

Is 26,500 after taxes and all to much for a white hatch titanium 401speca a,winter package,navigation,handling package, and power moonroof?

I really love the wheels that come with the handling package but I do not want the summer tires. What kind of options do I have with the dealer when I am purchasing the car?
If I get the handling package can I get all-season tires instead of summer tires?
If the car didn't have the handling package, can I swap the wheels are tires?

Is there any way for me to check on its shipping progress other than through my dealer?

Never been asked this before, to the best of my knowledge there is no coating on the wheels. But I'd have to ask a wheel expert to guarantee that.

Well what are you physically paying for the car? Taxes and fees vary by state and city.

Unless your dealership is willing to do a tire swap you're better off buying 4 new tires from a tire store and selling your takeoffs on Craigslist. Most dealers will keep the takeoffs and make you buy 4 new tires and charge you 25% to do so.

When you order the package Ford only puts 1 brand of tire on it, no choices. Even if the car didn't have the package you couldn't swap wheels or tires. Unless of course you find some on CL.

X-Plan is X-Plan, there is no bad deal related to this plan nor can it be negotiated.

Your dealer should show you the invoice when you buy a vehicle. It will say X-Plan price at the bottom and they can only charge a max of $75 for admin fee. Regional fees and transportation are built into this price as well so you should only pay tax on top of this.
