SO .... The engine
Since all you guys ... well most of you.

You all saw the engine. Well, with Russell's help ... we got the head off.

So the pictures.

New Donor Engine: (Phone pics a week ago)

Yup bent all of the Exhaust Valves:






Lots of fun coming off ... they are now off. So yay!!!

How's the block look (yours and the donor motors)? Hard to tell from the pics. So are all the exhaust valves bent on both heads or just yours? I'm guessing yours and holy carnage batman! lol

Yup just mine.

The donor engine ... actually had a new VCT Solenoid. The pistons looked real new and the valves are in great shape on this donor one. I am impressed.

I have a feeling the shop will just say the newer one is real good and will just double check it all and give it back to me for cheap of just checking. I am looking forward to getting it up and running again.

Well the guy I got it off from didn't know. But he did tell me that the person that he got it off from (insurance claim) had a very well clean SVT ... untouched.

Person drove it as a daily and never modified.
