When I started driving, the speed limit was 70 by day, 60 at night. With the old sealed beam headlights, 50 was too fast on a really black night. When using the dims on my Contour SVT, 45 seems too fast. My recent lease car had HIDs and, while I really enjoyed the extra brightness, I hated the sharp cut-off when on dim. My first night out when new I about hit a herd of deer leaving town going about 45 (me, not the deer) because all I could see was their hooves. I'm willing to give up some brightness on bright for a fuller light pattern on dim. I just really hope the Focus has great halogen lights!

I have received a price for the Euro LED/Xenon Focus Headlamps from the UK, $285 (pounds) each. I forgot to ask if their was some sort of wiring harness, so I am waiting on a response. I would love to get the official word from a Ford Engineer in regards to the compatibility of the Euro headlamps. Anyone in contact with one?

Also, for you Metro Detroit peeps, if you got your car already, how long after build did it take for you to get it?

I was told "may 2" build date by my dealer...still no sticker...I'm starting to think I'll never get this freaking car.

Shorty, there were at on of April 25 guys, too. It ended up being "week of April 25". Mine wend from May 2 to May 3, so I am guessing it is build WEEK you get at first and build DAY when you get the sticker.

My sticker was generated ONE week before the build date. my build date is tomorrow April 28th/2011.
