Yup the projectors bolt into the USDM ones. Another member had these projectors in USDM lights for sale a while back.

those arent st170 headlights they are standard focus (2001 - 2005 uk spec) st 170 headlights have black plastics inside the housing. these are st 170 head lanps coz these r on my 2 do list

Tell me something I don't already know . Would you be more inclined to read a thread that says "ST170 Retrofit Progress", or "Chrome facelift euro headlight retrofit"?

ST170s, Facelifts, and RS headlamps are all exactly the same output and design wise. RS headlamps have a chrome blockoff instead of a turn signal and are chrome housings. ST170s and facelifts are exactly the same minus housing color. ST170s have dark grey housings, same as 02-04 for our style headlamps. There are real black ST170s, but those were defects from the factory and are no longer available.

Bumping this back up. Has anyone done this with the black-housing ST170's? I want to put ST170's on my car(Ithink it would go better with my theme) but I don't want to lose HID output, I don't think I can live without HID's now lol. I got mixed feelings about how these look. They look very well done(could easily pass as OEM) the problem I have is they kinda do look cross-eyed. I am hoping that in black, they would look even more awesome than the chrome ones do!

Those definitely look great. So the retrofits do or do not go in stock headlight housings? Looking back, would you buy the whole kit from theretrofitsource or keep it from two providers?

I broke down and ended up buying the Hella Xenon HID lights about a year ago. Then, a couple months ago I totaled my focus :/.
