New York International Auto Show is right around the corner with tons of 2012 model year announcements.

Also, never in the history of automobiles has any manufacturer ever made any promises for specific release dates. There's no reason to get mad. Sometimes delays happen. Sometimes models show up at dealerships unexpectedly early. Dealerships are sometimes just as clueless as we are. It's just a fact of life with the automotive industry.

The only thing we should ever be concerned about is whether it will officially be brought over to the US. And that question has already been addressed many times before.

Wow, that's lot of cashola, How much are they going to price the "Shelby" version, or the "RS" version, if they come out w/ thou's? So far the best deal on a new car would be the Shelby GT500, for what you get, performance wise of course. Price out a GT or a Boss, your almost there w/ a GT500.

The ST should be around the base WRX or Speed3 price if you ask me.

Posted via FF Mobile How are you "almost there" if you price out a gt or boss, the gt500 is a 50k dillar car lol. The Boss is the better car anyway, and Id be more inclined to say if your putting everything possible into the GT and almost at 40k, why not get a Boss.

Hopefully they're right on with that November release estimate, although I'd prefer tomorrow. I'm just hoping it's released this year, and definitely before next spring.

I'm good with $27k less my trade/sold car money. So long as I can get a sunroof, HIDs w/ LED headlamps (or at least just HIDs), and dreaming for the European LED taillamp.

Hence the need for the ST to have the projector HID lenses seen in the Screamin Tangerine, i.e. offered on Euro model. It would really help the look.

I saw my first Focus hatch on the highway the other day. It is lower than it looks from pictures and from far away on a rotating podeum at last years NYIAS. I was really diging it, snapped a few pics. The bubbly will still be there but less noticeable with a projector inside. But if you think those are bubbly headlamps, I'd stay away from Toyota's.
