Aeromotive Stealth 340 in-tank fuel pump

I got it in, but it was 3/8's longer then the stock pump, also the pre-filter that is included is to big. So I used the stock one.

I ran a hose straight to the cannister lid, I'm not using any of that stock fuel system. Because the area is so tight, I ran a 2' loop into the tank and back to the lid.

The thing is super quite. I have pics but it will take me a few days to get them posted, my laptop died sat night..and haven't gotten around to getting it fixed.

but it diffidently seems to be a very good upgrade for people. they are still pretty hard to get your hands on though.

LMAO hahah you just plugged it in didnt you. ya i guess alot of people who have these dont know that they are backwards and aeromotive is getting phone calls left and right.

I can see this becoming a major issue for aeromotive the more of them that get out there. If I made the mistake, I can see 99.5% of my customers doing the same.

Yea alot of ppl are saying the deutch works pump is better. they did some testing and i guess it beat the aeromotive. also the pos and neg are the normal walbro way

Well I feel like the aeromotive product is still good and I have always had great success with their other products. Just I don't know why they did it.

I like how everyone keeps comparing the 044 to the aeromotive drop-in, when the 044 is no where near a drop in unit. Its a completely different type of fuel pump.

So far I'm loving the pump, how quite it is impresses me the most.

Also someone mentioned qaulity, I'm impressed on how its built...but I didnt expect to pull the metal tip off the pump when I removed the hose. I had to press it back on. It could have ended pretty sour because I was over the gas tank at the time that happened, thankfully I caught the piece before it took a swim.

When did anyone mention the 044? Were taking about the new deutchworks drop in 340 pump. Same size as the walbro 255

Plus 044 is made by bosch
