Focus Vs. Cobalt!

do you think an focus ses could beat a supercharged cobalt ss off the line in a 9sec race?

everywhere i look i see how fast they are but when you race them in person they seem too be slow?? whats that about!!

A supercharged ss will take a focus ses. Also are you sure you race supercharged versions? They made two different models of the ss cobalt. One is supercharged, the other isn't. If it's the non supercharged version it's possible. But if it's got one I say no.

idk it says "supercharged" on the side but you never know with those chevy people.....

I've seen ss cobalts do mid 13s in the quarter. The ses does what... mid 16s?

Unless said cobalt's driver is super bad, you don't stand a chance, sorry :(

The non supercharged version would not beat a 2.3l Duratec, I've driven a Colbolt and there okay, but there like Honda's built for high rev. You push the gas half way and they rev to 6K RPM.

There were/are 3 different level SS cobalts, a N/A version, a supercharged version, and a stage1(or 2) turbocharged version. Even the N/A ss would mop the floor w/ the SES given equal driver skill.
