Just wanted to tip you off, there are several members of FF who live in the Las Vegas area. But like all areas, not all members are interested in attending meets. In the case of the Vegas area, the majority of active members (active meaning those who went to meets and shows, track days, etc, etc,,) belonged to a club. The club had it's own section on the FF forum, but it went inactive. Over time, the club had its ups and downs, and sort of fell apart, from what I understand. This year, they made some changes and tried to get things going again, but their management (or a least a chosen representative) could not see eye to eye with the Focus Fanatics admin team on having the club be an active part of this site. At which point they choose to create their own forum which at one point was tied to another focus site, but now may be independent. Where the club is or what it's status is I'm not sure of.
The club was called "Focus Distortion" or something to that effect.
Perhaps you could do a Google search for that name, though the club may now be defunct or operating under another name.

This is not entirely true the club is still active and still goes by FOCAL DISTORTION, and we do have our own forum(www.focaldistortion.com) and that is were we are. Yes we did have a section here and and I tried to contact admin to let them know that the member that had set up our section here was no longer a member of our club, and to make me the contact. I never received a response and they said they took down our section due to inactivity, and that they could not get in contact with the member who set up the section. Yes another forum did set up a section for my club after it was taken down here, and I did not feel right in the terms that were presented afterwards! As for our own website it was in place long before any of this happened and this only expedited getting it up and running!!

Man, I thought there would be a lot more people here from Vegas. Nice to know there's a club here, though, I've seen a lot of nice Foci driving around.
