Cool, thanks. I'm not worried about the order being delayed. I'd rather have the car I want and wait a little longer, ya know?

When Ford re-did the pre-order for the Focus, that's when you could get a better idea of how things looked. That's what is prompting the changes.

Another thing I found out yesterday is this. We have two different Ford/Lincoln dealers in the Avon Park and Sebring Fla. area and I am the only person in this area that has pre-ordered a Focus.

It was interesting to hear some of the info and thinking from Ford from the inside and training point of view. They are moving the Focus upscale a bit as not to compete with the Fiesta.

Any questions? I'll try to answer.
Did the Titanium Hatch have the parking package? Early on, there was a notice that it would be "late availability," but my dealer checked after I ordered (early November) and said nothing came up to indicate the car would be delayed.

Haven't got a build date.

This one didn't have it but there was another in the area at a different dealer that did. I also ordered that and no mention of any hold on this package. I also ordered full leather and this one didn't have that either but it did have the moon roof that I ordered too. I ordered everything except the GPS and winter package. It also had the 8" screen in the dash.

Great info. Thanks!
BTW, I ordered a Titanium silver sedan with everything except the two-color leather package.

I didn't have much choice except black leather with the Blue Candy. I would like to have seen, what was called on the 2002 Thunderbird I have, a full interior. That would have been seats, dash and panels color coded with the exterior color. But that's comparing a $27/28k car to a $40k car.

'Bird, for what it is worth, check out the new Focus build site. It won't be live in person, but at least you can get a better clue as to what the different interiors may look like.

The focus I built has the metallic white on the exterior and the white seats/dash inserts. Gonna be a lot of white ! lol

Game, I've got the same thing coming... if I can get the dealer to make the interior switch.

And if you care, I've got the light stone interior currently ordered. That's Plan B if I can't get the white inserts.
