Well, Linux > pc > mac. haha. And no, never have. I torrent music and OCD organize it all onto my D partition of my HDD - in case I do ever have a corrupt C and need formatting, I can format/reinstall Windows alone and keep music/movies/programs. Vista is garbage though.

vista is crap.

and ok. just making sure you recognize linux rocks, now just remember that linux and mac are both unix based, the same script i wrote to organize music by id3 tag on linux works great on my mac.

that is all.

it's not like i studied computer engineering or worked for Apple, a web hosting company and did IT for a defense company or anything.

Also asked if he was willing to go lower on price if I didn't want any of the extra bits he was planning on giving away with the car. If not I'll just turn around and sell em myself so thats w/e.

Waiting for comfirmation on Sat morning and answers to those questions.

Anyone know of possible jobs out there? Really need to pick up a 2nd/3rd job to cover the bills. Family can't cosign any loans and school is killing me. Looking for something preferably at night or a schedule that I could have some control over and involving cars( driving such as valet or something) would be nice. Any ideas?

As for maintenance, everything that's specified to have been done by now has been done. Timing chains in the VR6 do not have a service interval like the belts on the 1.8T and 2.0. Water pumps never have a service interval, but it's a recommended replacement item when doing the timing belt on a 1.8T since it's right there. I have the owner's guide, which you're free to look at, and I'll print the maintenance information from Elsa (VW service information).
Klod.. Sound right?

For some reason I always hear people say the chains need to be done anyway...

Yeah I realize that Mac is Unix based, but for nerds sake Linux is open sourced and a lot more customizable and manageable for those who can do those tasks - I can't. I know nothing about programming, some HTML and JavaScript knowledge form my Counter-strike days but that's it. No offense was intended I do realize there are many people more knowledgeable than me about computers, and I can't argue that at all. I'd never own a Mac personally, but do understand the halo surrounding the Mac name and their products.

Speaking of, anyone ever change a battery in their iPod? I have a 30gb 1st Gen video that doesn't hold a charge. Is it a task I can undertake myself? Or recommendation for places to get batteries.

I read on ebay you can get a turbo kit for $1,500 that will add 300hp on top of what you already have! you should def buy one way high quality.

So as long as they don't rattle like crazy I should be good for a while and then if/when they make noise later on I can just change em then. Ok i'm less worried about that now.
