Looks good Rocco, I am trying to do the same. I got the same pistons but I was under the impression they were .027s over. Im sure they come in different sizes. I believe they are 85.5mm. Looking forward to see what kind of power this makes. We have the same power goals in mind but you are way closer than I am.

looks good, i tihnk the weakest part is the eagle rods... should limit you in the 300-400 whp range

This gave me a good laugh! Eagles are rated for 900 crank hp. The only draw back to them is their weight. @540grams each they are quite heavy. The 3 most powerfull zetecs in the country have all used eagle rods.

i ran the part number and i was wrong. They are a 85mm bore.
I was gonna say Im pretty sure stolle and jared are both running eagle rods.

my experience with the eagles was never good, thats why the motors i buld now get crower i beams...

here are my past experiences with eagles in my all motor stock cars...

this one only had about 75 laps on it when this happened... and was fully tuned on the dyno for safe running... bought another set at lasted less than 300 laps

Yeah, I think I am good for my HP goals. I am not going after 500. So I think I should be safe. What I cant believe is the torque that these MTX`s can handle..

OH, Engine is on its way. Should be here Monday afternoon. Will post more pics when I get it...
