Initially no, it it not planned to support custom tuning; that will be added later.

We have no plans for creating interface software for mac.

That's a shame. Market share of Macs are growing at a fast pace, with Apple being #1 in many categories, and the most sought after brand in the 18-22 age bracket. Maybe someday :)
Until then, there's always Parallels, VMware Fusion, or Wine.

Thats weird i only know one person with a mac, it seldom even gets used.

I should tell him about the windows wrappers so he can atleast get some use of it.

Yeah a study done a few years ago by Morgan Stanley showed that 40% of college students wanted a Mac. That means 40% wanted the same brand: Apple. Dell, Acer, HP, etc, all lumped into the other 60%. And interest has only been growing since.

Anyway, I've tried a few tests, you can't do it through VMWare Fusion with XP, and probably not with any other version of Windows through VMWare either.
Boot Camp may work, but I haven't been able to test it.

I need to get a copy of Windows, and then I'll load bootcamp on one of my Macs. It's expensive as hell.
Snow Leopard update? $29. Windows 7? $179.

That's exactly why I was hoping for a tuner for a mac. Simpler and not having to pay for things I wont use for anything else

Yeah, even something simple like a driver and an interface for loading/saving tunes.
I'm sure a lot of the code would transfer over, without much modification.
And, seeing as though they have something in the works for iOS, I'm betting they're familiar with Cocoa, Objective C, and interface builder.


If you have Snow Leopard, I think Boot Camp works best with Windows 7. You could probably find a cheap copy of Windows Vista or XP somewhere, but it could be a special version, and you could end up having issues with the Genuine Windows Advantage BS.
