What concerns me is that it seems that you're rubbing ONLY in right hand turns. Are you pushing it harder in right hand turns or is something different in your rig for right turns.

Thanks guys ... yeah ... I didn't notice the rubbing when I tested the car with the tire combo the week before the run ... And of course when I am on course ... I won't be paying attention to it.

I am thinking about rolling the fenders a bit and seeing if that will remedy some of the tire rubbing.

Thanks Joe for posting the link to my tire combo ... for those of you too lazy to hit the link ... they are 16" Rotas with Hankook 225/50R16s. They don't rub during normal driving ... but through the course I found the rub spot.

@ GodLovesUgly - > You are thinking what I was thinking when I saw the video. That I need stiffer suspension. So ... I will be venturing in the Suspension forum a bit to decided and what Shocks I want to go with ... Or do you think I just need stiffer Springs ... hmmm ... I'm on Eibachs at the moment.

But yes overall ... Fun Fun Fun ... I will be running in all of the events this year and will post up the videos. Hopefully you guys can help me see what I am missing in the runs. I need more practice and guidance, really.

honestly, i think you should get better shocks and struts first. then worry about springs.
i'm not sure what the rules are for your class but personally that's where i would start.

Sorry I don't remember what eibachs you had, but I know that the ones that give you the greatest drop are not stiff enough for the amount they lower you. Rubbing on right turns more is usually because there is more weight on the left front of the car.

^^yuppers more weight on the left side of the car = driver. I bet if I rode with him they would rub on the other side also, and possible all around due to my added weight

I have the Pro Kit ... which is not as low as the Sport Kit ... and from what I understand is a bit more stiff as well. But yes, as many people have told me ... still soft.

And yes, Paul ... I think the car looks great with those wheels and tires.
