it should NOT. i've taken my car to the dealer countless amounts of times already, to replace an alternator, water pump, and now a power steering pump. Never said anything about the intake. Besides, if anything ever happens to break in your car they gotta PROVE the Intake caused the problem.

This will not void your warranty. Unless you blow your engine and the dealer can show it was directly b/c of the intake.

So I was reading another thread it was a bit dated (09 to the beginning of ’10) and it said that the fswerks cool-flo won’t work right with the 08’s +. Does anyone know if it’s just a bolt on, and go or if you have to get a tune or whatever else you’d have to do?

Don't worry, the CAI is a straight bolt-on and a great intake. I have it on my '09 and it works great. No tune needed with it.

Quick question. I have a 2011 focus with no mods on it and i was wondering if a CAI would be a good place to start? I've been looking at a K&N Typhoon Series intake online.

YEs a CAI is a GREAT place to start but do not get the K and N, go for the FSWerks, much better and it's been proven by many members on here to be perfect.

There are a few that have run into lean problems with the K and N.

I checked out the FSWerks CAI and i noticed it only had up until 2010 covered. I know mine's a 2.0 Duratec, so will it still fit?
