We had customers in the past asking for a billet steel flywheel option. They wanted something that would not have as much gear noise compared to the lightweight aluminum flywheel.

We have customers that need a performance clutch kit to hold more power, but they do not want to deal with the extra noise of the aluminum flywheel. In this case the steel flywheel is what they need.

The aluminum flywheel would offer better performance given less rotational mass.

If you are someone that does not mind the noise, the aluminum flywheel would be the option for you.
