IIRC that pulley is keyed so it would be impossible to put in backwards.

Its keyed all the way thru so yes it can be on backwords, and it is

looks correct to me, looks to just have a large washer on the front side of the pulley which is what you guys are mistaking for the backside of the pulley.

Now dont take this wrong this is a beautiful motor and build (not bashing at all just dont want anything to get messed up on this beast)

Its labeled front

Its on right in this picture. But then is switched around later on when build is complete..

Correct the washer goes on the BACK side so the belt cannot ware into the Alum oil pump housing

The belt will cut right into the oil pump housing and leak oil

I think its still right, it looks like he has 2 washers on there. One on the front and one on the back. Looks like he might have just had a spare from his engine or something and threw it on the front b/c he has that part on there so he can turn the crank.

Ok now that I look at looked at it closer I can see that there is an extra washer on the front. Just didn't want anything to get messed up.

Wonder why the extra washer? the pulley is basically a huge washer and its flat on the back side

New pulleys do not have a seperate washer, they're molded into the pulley because previous versions with the washer would eat the belt.

And I'll also say it again, I believe he has it the correct way with a large metal washer on the front side.
