That would be fine , I sent a tank to a Co that makes fuel cells to replace stock tanks , it was going to cost about 2000.00 to make it the way it should be done

a duratec has an alum tank. idk why some one hasnt just got on of those and welded a drop sump on it... seems a lot more simple.. if i were doing it again that is what i would do. even if you didnt want to weld to something that had fuel in it just go to a dealer and by a new one. still wont cost you 2k dollars.

Well on Jared's car, with the 2 walbros and our new pickups we have driven the car HARD down to empty without any Kaboom, this is going thru turns not just drag racing or on the dyno.

Before we would notice it cut out, when it was extremely low, but with the new pickups we are not having the problem.

I keep hearing this but common sence tells you other wise , as you make a sweeping turn with 1/4 tank or less there is no way to keep the fuel at ANY pickup as the g`s are going to slosh the fuel side to side with out the pickup being in a sump

The tank is positioned where a sump would be to low and would make it unprotected

Surge tank will work but where are you going to place it , by the time you do this you have spent what a well cell would cost
