ok well i have been on here for a few months now just looking at post and decided to join my name is lonnie i am from the columbus ohio area i have a 2000 wagon i have had it for a few weeks now and it is my first focus i have owned and modded a few cars in my life to be honest this is the first one i have owned that i truly enjoy driving makes me happy just looking at it everyday so i guess im in for the long haul. so anyway havent done to many mods just some rims for now to cold and my garage isnt heated so just going to collect parts and do it all in the spring so anyway ill post from time to time on my newest mods hope everyone likes my mods i try to be tastefull with them

Howdy everyone! I'm a newbie from up here in downeast Maine. Let see my veh's are a 2000 Buick Regal gs with a supercharged 3800v6 and a blast to drive. But my new purchase is a 2003 Ford Focus svt with 58k on the clock. I bought it from the org owner.The only issue with the focus is it was involved in a single car wreck and damaged the rf lower control arm and right rear arms are bent some. Only gave $1000.00 for her and plan on fixing it up this spring.Cant wait! Well hope to meet a bunch of new friends that will help with any questions i might have about these little rockets.

Little ol' lady from the midwest (don't carry a side arm ... yet) After a 20 year love affair with a red escort pony (speedometer long gone so only know it had 150,000mi for sure) the red rolling turd blew the head gasket and because the electronics were obsolete I chose to get a "new" car. I have been lusting after a focus for at least 5 years and just bought a 2006 zx3 manual transmission I love it. What I'm after is knowledge to make this baby last 20 years too. How do I improve the mpg? (getting 23mpg in town) Any and all suggestions appreciated. I made the turd last by changing oil and fixing stuff before it broke (She got 24mpg in town when she passed) The only thing I regret is not buying a ride with a full instrument panel. I miss a tach. My other car is a 1958 Triumph TR3a. My first car was a MG midget. I rebuilt the engine with my own two hands so I understand what's going on.

If you really miss the tach so much go get one from a junk yard that has one. It's really not hard. Just make sure to get either one from a 06 or 05 I believe, I think you can even go 04?

Or depending on if you are willing to get into it? Go buy a 2 inch tach from Glowshift or someone online and install it.
