ABS & ESP Warning lights are on

Hi Everyone,
Due to the bad weather here in north of England the Traction control system and the ABS on my Focus has been working overtime for the past week and now the yellow indicator lights are illuminated continuously on both the ABS & the ESP (Electronic Stability Program).

Sequence of events as follows
The traction control was working fine as proved when stuck on compacted ice and I managed to get it moving after about 10 secs you could feel it kicking in and out. Also the light was flashing on and off when the wheels slipped slightly on normal driving on snow covered roads.
The following day my daughter was driving down hill on a clear section of road and the ABS & ESP & Handbrake warning lights just all flashed on together, this is without touching the brakes or handbrake.
When arriving home and switching off the ignition the lights all went off. But today the ABS & ESP lights are back on in other words indicating a malfunction.
Going to check the fuses tomorrow 21 & 11 in the engine compartment, and fuse 30 for the ABS module in central fuse box.
Cannot find any fuse for ESP ?
Dont think I am that lucky to be a simple blown fuse, more likely water ingress as it's been running through ice, slush, rain, snow, for 10 days now. or just the fact that these brake parts only get tested once a year. There is close to 100,000 miles on the clock so its getting on a bit but it has been a good car.
If anyone has any ideas or experienced similar problems or can tell me what else to check please post a reply.
