but yea i have seen the latches fail so i like hood pins on aftermarket hoods.

The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you? - It protects my head.

Do you have any special rituals when the helmet is concerned like many have? - I wipe it so that I can see better.

Not a dumb question at all. Our hoods come with the latch where the latch is not removable from the factory part. If the latch is able to be unbolted from the OE part, you would need to reuse that one.

We suggest hood pins on all of our hoods for safety reasons. A Duraflex or Carbon Creations hood is lighter than OE so it is always best to be "better safe than sorry."

What is a speed limiter? I dont think my car has seen one in a few years.

There are some hood pins that look more flush.

that car hasnt had a speed limiter since 2003, lmfao.

those are the hood pins I will be getting, the flush mount ones...

My current carbon creations hood does shake quite a bit at speeds between 70-150, with just a latch, but I think that is also because I have the sides raised up with spacers to let more cool air in....if it were flush, i dont think i would have this issue. but nothing bad has come of it yet.

Aerocatch is one of the best. Both form and function.
