I don't think anyone sells them, and this one is completely custom. It's not a difficult project, but it will push your patience to the limit. I've seen at least one other member on here that has done it, not sure who though.

Quick how-to.
I just cut it out, fitted in some pieces of aluminum, like so.


Filled it up with bondo, shaped it and painted. I had to repeat this part three separate times.


Shaping the bondo is what will push you over the edge. Mine still needs some work, but I'm just not willing to get into it again.

gotrox, i love the blacked out chrome arches on the tail lights you did. i did the same mod and LOVE it!

Man... I wish i had that "patience" thing you said or else I would def. do this! hahaha I will probably have my friends help me with this. They work in a mustang restoration shop and they have a lot of bodywork experience so thanks for the help man! I really hope i can get this done because it looks soo much better imo.

One of the best things I did on the outside was to get rid of the chrome. I also tinted the reverse lights to darken it up a bit more.

If you can get someone thats skilled with bodywork, bondo especially, you should be able to get better results quicker than I did. Me and bondo have a LONG history of pure hatred for each other. Its one of the only things about bodywork and cars in general that I still have an incredibly difficult time with.

i love them. its not in my post but i smoked them since getting them installed. they look real nice at night. i have this picture but it isnt great because it was from my phone. if you want another just ask me.
