well on the 28th i shall be entering my 1st comp. i know its late in the season and its all good with the people running it. they said it'll be good to get the drive time.

but anyway i am kind of nervous and wanted to know some pointers/tips..

i will be running in the HS catigory

there is a auto-x forum here on FF, there is some FAQs and first time pointers, so i wont list them all but:

have fun, people are very firendly so talk to them and ask for help. and ride along with experienced drivers to learn from them.

and pump up the pressure in your tires. i'd start at around 45 #s

Walk the course as many times as you can. Take the course slow till you figured it out. Keep air pressure in your tires around 40 lbs them adjust from there. If having trouble with the course, take a ride with someone.

But it's more fun when you "make" your own course lol. You mean those cones are there for a reason?? I thought the idea was to find out how many will fit under your car...

It's the best thing ever invented Brett! How many times do you wish that you could throw your car down the bowling alley instead of a little old ball. Just imagine all the strikes you would get then. This is just a bit more modified. You line up all these cones in and strange order and you all race to see who can collect the most cones under their car before they can't drive anymore.
