What about getting the clip off the wires? It's like locked on there, and I need to get those clips off. Otherwise, I won't be able to change to the new, Bosch wires I got.

coil,plug,wire tuneup

320 dollars to get that stuff replaced or tuned up as they put it, why and how is it so expensive, Is it something i can do at home cheaply?

Twist the boot back and forth a couple times to break the seal, then pull off.
When installing the new wires, put a dab of dieletric grease on the end that goes on the plug to keep it from sticking the next time around.
(It also provides a good seal to keep water and dust out)

Anyone should be able to replace coil/wires/plugs in less than an hour.
About the only specialized tool you'd need is a spark plug socket.

What's the proper temp range for SVT plugs? I want to get a set of NGK's;
Iridium IX Spark Plug 14mm x .708" Reach 5/8" Hex Projected Tapered seat .059"

but I'm not sure if I need hot, cold, or medium.

I ran the stock platniums in my car up to 100k then had Motorcraft copper SP463 plugs gapped at .06 and Taylor wires installed. I just rolled over 140k and started to wonder if I should think about replacing my plugs? How long are the copper plugs usually good for?

I'm about to get my car serviced tomorrow and i'm considering changing out my spark plugs since i'm reaching 60k miles. Is it safe to change my plugs to SPF-463 and gap them to .06 while keeping the stock wires?
