^^ The idea is the version the States gets, and the version the rest of the world gets, are merging back together into a "global" platform. So we should see this. I wonder about crash standards though, the original Mk. I Focus in the U.S. had bigger bumpers to meet our standards. Did they factor that into this design, or will ours look slightly different?

Now I have to choose whether I go the practical route and buy a truck, or buy the new Focus.

i totally agree with azdamay.

wondering what happened with the TQ'y 5-cyl engine.

definitey lose the rear 2 doors.

and i guess it will be abound 26k.

way too much like a mazda 3 widemouth front end.

fiesta rear looking, very narrow.

thats my initial opinion.

its great we get a boosted one, BUT a 2007-2010 looking ST would have been KiLLER

I totally agree with azdamay 100%.
Well said.
Whoever said to SHUT UP better get over themselves.
Its hard to be happy with this as a Focus community when the new Fiesta ST looks closer to what I wanted.
I dont roll over and buy based on a name....if its not what I want I walk away.
This is closer:

This is NOT:

But it looks like this:

Introducing the new "Wide mouth ST"

I think part of that is the angle, the grill on the new ST is similar to the grill on the old one...

I cannot claim credit for that, (Nor would I, I love the new Focus ST). A guy on Xceed, a local midwest forum did it.
