We're "bitching" because what we wanted is what everyone else got between 2005 and today, a smart-looking update of the original look, with more power, and a better interior. Now that we finally get the "rest of world" model, the styling is totally different (kind of derivative of currently popular styles from other companies), the interior is cluttered and busy, and the performance stats (speculative as they are right now) are better than previous models, but (IMO) sort of underwhelming. Yeah, they gave us the same Focus everyone else is getting... it's just a little too late to get the one we really wanted.

But that's just my take on it.

Finally. Ford needs to give the Steeda/Roush/Saleen performance houses one of these ASAP so they can start developing some performance parts right away!!

Approximately 247 horsepower. So not bad, could be better, but I'm sure the aftermarket will soon take care of that. In these days of horsepower races it seems low but maybe I'm just spoiled.

In short: PS equals to HP, PS is germany version of HP

507 HP = 514 PS = 373 kW

I'm not 100% shure in this but it makes sense.

Anyway MkIII focus will get 3 door hatchback and coupe-convertible body versions. EU compact car market is huge so every model (Opel, Renault, Peugeot...) have 3/5 door,estate,sedan,CC,MPV (C-max in focus case) versions.
