Proper Euro Front Plate

in germany the sticker goes on back so its not hard to mess up but if your in the states not to many people will know what goes where so really it shouldnt matter but for peace of mind the EU typically operates the same so ill say that the sticker is in the back

I thought it was safety sticker on rear and emissions sticker on the front...

for my birthday one year my parents got me a customized dutch license plate from licenseplates.tv (my dad is from holland). its pretty authentic looking, but not exxactllyy the same, very very close though. they used my birthdate and initials so it looks like 07-22-HD. it is my favorite accessory on my car and get comments sometimes from people asking me where its from or "what is that thing on the front of you car?". i just smile and tell em where its from. here in tulsa you see a lot of german and swedish cars with german and swedish plates. i think how unoriginal, so when i got my focus i knew i had to represent the dutch on a ford. i just think "well they have some badass fords in holland, so why not". i gotta say that if i didnt have it on the focus, id probably rock it on a dang kia if i had to lol. they really can add some flare to the front of any car i think...

And Texas requires a front plate (I'm not using one now actually) as a state law.

i have that plate for my front. i have had no problems.

sorry but thats a myth. you are required to have a front plate in the state of TX. you can put it in your window in most cases a cop wont bother you about it but thats why i got the euro front plate for my car cause i keept getting pulled over. it all depends on the cop and what city your in if they are going to pull you over or not...

hello ataru, yes sir, good ole tulsa. ive had my svt now for 25 months. bought it april 28, 2007 for $7995 with roughly 60k miles from marc miller (big mistake, they suck). i actually bought it the same day i found it on autotrader lol because i HAD to have it. in my 2 years owning the car ive seen less than a handfull of other focus svts around town. im pretty new to the forums, but i do also have an FJ account. i mostly used them to browse and research, but im trying to get my feet in the door and meet some other cool people.

i always wanted to put euro plates but not for driving on ontario roads, more for photo shoots and such.

How have you guys mounted the european "wide" licence plate to the front of your car?
