yeah. it is time for them to step up to the plate.


take VW for instance.

the regular Golf comes with about 170hp

The Golf GTI is at 200 hp (VW says off the record its 220)

so, a plain jane Golf comes with some pretty good hp. also start around 17K

Yeah but they are big heavy pigs... There acceleration numbers are not that great at all. They are right around a 16 second 1/4 mile car.

yeah. i worked for VW for 5 years. i hate how they drive. lol. the gti for an extra 30 hp isnt too bad.

Thats what I plan on doing if it's possible... I honestly dont like the looks of the new focus, but I like the engine and the looks of my '02, so if it can be done, I will do it.

new ST... i like the front, but not the back end...
i feel like the tail failed the whole car...
i will take the Euro Mk2 facelift ST anyday, even with the weaker engine...

I liked the SVT because it was subtle, only those who were in the "know" could see a difference, it had a European flair. This thing still looks like a Toyota Venza to me.

The front end is what kills it for me. I kinda like the rear other than that it does NOTHING for me.

The MK1 Focus will always be my favorite. This one, no thanks I could care less if it had a bazillion HP (although that would be pretty sweet if it had that much)

Although the tails look like a ripoff of Nissan's current styling.
