The zetec usually has 2 tables for gain that are based on rpm and load.

The SVT has 5 tables. 4 of which are based on rpm and load and the 5th one is rpm only. The 4 that are based on rpm and load do not do anything. The 5th one WILL adjust the knock sensor's sensitivity.

By not doing anything I mean you can adjust all of them (the 4 mentioned above) to either end of the spectrum and you will not see any difference in spark at any time nor will you see any change in knock sensor activity.

I'm just wondering why you dont make those tables available to the consumer version of advantage?

There are a lot of tables that are in the PRP that are not needed for basic safe NA/FI tuning why double the list with other things

Most people dont need to be messing with half of what they already have access to why make things more confusing to 99.9% of the people using the PRP

Yes there are a FEW very few that access to some stuff might help but with out testing equipment , dyno most you couldnt use anyway

That's what you could expect to see if you're running an SVTF on MBT spark @ high loads. I was pretty surprised it didn't knock until 6k. And no, I obviously didn't repeat this run. This was one of VERY few times I have observed my motor knocking. FWIW, I am actually running MBT just about everywhere, but -1 above 0.8 and -2.5 at full load (from about 4k and up).

i bought the same cable, from stock cable.com
i foudn the 3 wires, how do i know which is analog one
oveously the bare one is ground, but the other two are red and yellow.
plugged the cable into the xcal and gave it power and found that 2 of the wires gave out 2.5 volts so im guessing they are the analog wires

like i know which pins are what because of the diagram
but how do i know wich wires that are putting out positive voltage are analog 1 or 2
do i combine the 2 wires or only use one or the other

im talking about the 9 pin mini din

Use a multimeter to find out which wire is connected to each pin.
