Its not all about the 60' when you have that kind of torque. Im sure he was spinning when he threw it into 2nd as well.

In a mtx car there is a lot going on in that first 3-4 seconds. To be expected to go out there and run what the car is capable of even in the first 10 passes is just a lot to expect. I have no doubt he can do it the way the car sits.

Roush what were you shifting at?

Breaking something is just part of the game. however, we have ran consistant 1.6 60's on Jared's car and the only thing we broke was a bushing in the vf dogbone, so we just made a new aluminum bushing to replace it and have not had any problems since.

Pulled a 1.906 60ft but i should be able to pull low 1.8s and that will get me down lower in the 11s also i was spinning first, this was my first time out with the setup so i need more track time. next time i go to the strip im going to datalog my runs and fernando is gonna check everything out. it was hot and muggy at the track which sucks ass

WTF was that car in the left lane? sounded like an old rotory wankle engine and good god he left you out of the hole. very very impressive. i hate to say it but unless you just were not making full power i dont think you're going to quite make it into the 11's. you might shave a 10th off your overall time but without adding more power or shaving a few hundred pounds of weight, or taking it out of your 60 ft i dont know if you can get it. after watching the video i have to say your driving is impeccable and consistent and i just dont think there is another 3 tenths there to be picked up from driving better.

now you know what that means. ive got you all riled up now so you just have GOT to get out there and prove me wrong next week and be sure to record it for everyone's viewing pleasure.

I think another 10th or 20th can be made up in the 60ft and that translates into more in the overall 1/4 mile.
