I smoked a Civic Si (the model before the newest one) on the Interstate the other night.

Thanks a lot Ashley! The guy tried me about 4 times within a 20 mile stretch of interstate. I do know that my car pulls clean to 6000 now. I was impressed. My friend and I were coming fro Parkersburg, WV towards our home town (he has a Mazda Protege 5), and the Honda, whiich is also from our town and has all kinds of stuff on it from suspension bits, sparco seats, to a flamed paint job, and a Performance Specialists (local) sticker on the back window, started to mess with him. Well my buddy zipped past me with the Honda right on its tail, then they got side beside and my buddy's speed limiter kicked in. I caught and pulled beside the Honda which nailed it again with a super high rpm down shift. I didn't downshift and we were heading into a hill. He stayed beside for a ways (to abotu 110) and I pulled away up the hill. The at the top of the hill he tried again (doing the ricer run) and I down shifted. As close as he could do was my rear fender for a short while then I would pull him again, and then shift to fifth and pull him some more until he would give up until he was ready for another run. He tried my 2 more times once going into a curve which was a big mistake eventhought he looked like he had koni shocks and had braces and stuff (I let him go around and then passed him in the curve), and again on a big ass straight stretch! Smoked him each time. I was really proud of my torquey Zetec, and look forwar until I can do more to it. I finally let him around, and when he got ready to get off the interstate, I pulled my own ricer run up on his ass and pissed him off so much I thought he was going to blow it up trying to slow down!
