well the time has come to get new tires, and i don't want to race my 22lbs a piece svt 6 spokes forever so i'm thinkin i should just buy some rota slips 16" with tires, i just want some advice before i dig into it. .

eventually i'll be upgrading the suspension (prolly for next season) to koni yellows and h&r race springs.
have any of you had this set up, i'm sure you have but i wanna know what size tire you had and how it worked out.
we have a couple of venues that have some pretty decent elevation changes so i don't want to scrape a ton..

Top 30% or so, I consider it a bad outing if I'm not in the top 50% raw time.

Need to keep working on my driving though, still not driving to the limits of the FSP car.

Need to remind myself:

Look up
Flat out
Look up
Smooth

Repeat

I just did some quick math. At the last event, if I had registered FSP instead of SMF I would have placed 59 out of 95 instead of 71 out of 95. So I'm almost at the 50% mark under FSP!

yes, i'm trying the "look up" part, but i think of it more as "look ahead" i try to look at least to the next obstacle every time. this REALLY helps with sweepers. for me anyways.
and smooooooooth!! yes i smoothness is what i worked on this past event!! again in the sweepers! and i improved my time everytime i was smooth.

i don't know what flat out is?? i'd like to know that secret?!?

and i'm in ST class, only because i changed my RSB other then that my svt is stock.

Its what Mikko always says in interviews between rally stages. I use it to remind myself never to coast. Look up is same as look ahead.
