I hope so. I am a person that wont believe until I can touch. However that doesnt mean that the current rumors are not making me nervous (reduced horsepower, less mileage, pushed out production dates). For Focus I am giving up space for mileage.

I was considering a Fusion, but seems with the I4 there is a probility of "waterfall" sounds indicating air in the cooling system. So that has moved down my list. Right now its a Sonata (2011, Turbo) and Focus. Plenty of time for the facts to come out, but still....

That sonata turbo is a damn fine car, great mileage and a crap load of power coming from the little four pot....hoping that hyundai bumps up power outputs for the genesis coupes to be more competative. If the 4 turbo had the power of the sonata it be an awesome ride.

I havent heard any such rumors on the focus. The power i doubt will be any less then they said and they cant reduce the mpg bc the cruze is gonna get 40mpg hwy and you really think ford is gonna let them steal that crown?

Posted via FF Mobile A few months or whatever doesnt matter especially if they fixing something and making it better. Id rather wait then for them to rush a car and then have to recall all them in the first month.

Nice table but is it 100% official, the ford says that USA 2.0 155hp will get optional 6 speed manual and I don't see that in your table...

The table is unofficial and is based on FoMoCo's press-releases.
May I bother you for a quote or a source on that optional 6 speed manual for North American 2.0 155hp?

Sorry, I was wrong, it's 5 speed manual. Here's a part from Ford official video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tk2RCteIRdc
Do you have any info about engines weight, current 1.6 Sigma weights around 85 kg. Diesel 1.6 109 hp is 98 kg I think?

As DrkKnight614 point out the original start up date talked about was end of November 2010 which was never published.
But 1st published start up date was January 3, 2011, then moved to January 31, and as of June 14 information now moved back to January 3.

One can follow auto news pertaining to North American start up dates here http://www.phharval.com/home/news-and-media/motor-news

I find that information to be controversial. Other sources state that there will be a 6-speed manual. For example: http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car...cus-auto_shows. I do understand that Mr. Hughes is a Ford official, but his statement hasn't been confirmed anywhere else.

There is no information on weight of those new 1.6 units. Current 1.6 Duratorq Tiger/DV6 81 kW (110PS) weights 107 Kg. New PSA Euro5 DV6 engines weight 122,5 Kg
