X3 EGR Delete Question
Does the "EGR Delete" function on an SCT X3 actually stop the exhaust gas re-circulation or does it simpy allow you to do an EGR delete without throwing a code?

So if my tune has the EGR delete, is there any sense to removing the EGR valve, tube, etc...? I'd like to bring my cylinder air temps down if possible.

no cuz your egr valve defaults to closed
no point in getting it rmoved unless you want less wireing/clutter in the bay but its not alot of stuff

Loose the EGR , put a plate in between the valve and tube going to the intake , this will only lower your IAT if it is leaking some and your IAT sensor is in the MAF and cannot read these temps in the manifold it self so if you looking at a scan tool and seeing high IAT then look from the MAF out to lower IAT How and why are you checking the Cyl Temps ?
