this guy is selling a set of 15x7(i would like to see a side shot because if they poke they may be 15x8) old mustang wheels for $300 obo... you may get him to ship, he is in texas though....

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=224645

im running a very similar wheel, also an old mustang wheel that i picked up on here for $230 wrapped in almost bald azenis... they are 15x8 with 205/50/r15 tires!!! they are still very bald, but i cant afford new ones at the moment and they are only a little more than halfway through the wear marks... but i still love them!!!!

plus, they are still lighter than my dd wheels!!!

i think wheels are on the back burner for a bit, i want to get a solid suspension. i'm not feeling the svt suspension. maybe i'll swap it for my dynamic kit that's on my zx3.. not a bad idea.. maybe even the mbrp svt exhaust.

i let another driver drive it and he launched a ton better then i ever did.. i think i just need to practice. i kinda like the long 1st gear it's just kind of hard to fight the urge of shifting lol.

Good to hear an Auto-xer's review of the Dynamic vs. stock SVT suspension...I was thinking of going with SVT setup, but I guess I'm gonna hold out for the Dynamic now. (My "coilovers" are just killing me)

glad i could help!
but yeah, don't get me wrong for the price of the SVT suspension you can't go wrong. it's pretty damn good, but just not what i'm use to with the dynamic. i'd recommend either for a daily driver/autox car.

how many of you do left foot braking?

Tried once years ago in my Trans-Am, went real bad, upset corner workers had to reset a number of cones!

so i'm at another 2day event here in Wendover, NV. i'm having a BLAST as usual, we had a normal scored heat (5 runs) then we spent the last half of the day doing school/fun runs.
i got some of our BEST drivers to drive my car then ride along with me, this helps SOOO much, i learned a ton.
i worked on my sweepers and when to and when not to trail brake (lol, almost spun out trying to trail brake like a jackass hahaha)

i started with a 73.4xx and chopped that down to a 69.5xx!!
i'm pretty sure i'm the only one in my class this week so I WIN!

i will have a couple of videos up tomorrow night after i get home

P.S. i'm going to need new tires by the time i get home.. (not always a bad thing!)

Count me in!
Ya gotta be GENTLE!!!
Just a light push with the toes is plenty enough to loosen up the back as required in a long sweeper.
