What is the exact weight difference between the Carbon Creations OEM style hoods and the stock hoods? If you don't have that available, can you just give us the weight of the Carbon Creations hoods?

Dean, what does your latch on the hood look like? I think that you could probably get the hood if it has the same style. The locking mechanism shouldnt matter if they are the same. We can do a swap to the euro mechanism w/o changing hoods if i remember correctly.

Apologies guys. Our Carbon Creations hood weighs roughly 23lbs.

I've never weighed mine, but when I took it off, I'd estimate it around 35-40lbs

Dean-16 The hood catches are exactly the same for all Focus for the years 1998-2004. Yours is just released differently than it is here. As for the NA Focus is released from inside the passenger compartment and not via a key into the grill opening. If you are in any doubt you can always remove the catch on the underside of the hood and install some hood pins.
