btw I was checking what my car would be classified as (considering my rear seats aren't and cant be bolted down now) I'M SCREWED LOL........

btw I just made a roof mount cam today and tested it out. it's SOLID but I gotta figure out how to keep the wind from blowing into the mic.

I'd put my SPI up agianst you on that auto x coarse. The SPI is a very torquey motor and with a 5 speed it does well. Now on a long open coarse your 2.0D would leave me.

To me it looked like you were just being really careful. More seat time will def help you, as you learn the limits of your car and push it harder.

i tried to push it harder on my very first run and ran 4 seconds higher.. my tires can't handle the "push harder button" so i have to make due with what i've got.
damn dura is so loud you can't hear my tires screech!

There's a saying, slower is faster. Front drives understeer when pushed to hard. And we use starts like that all the time, easier on the car than drag race starts.

First event? Looked fine from here...not over-driving, being sensible, no errors of over-exuberance. There's a lot to say for that! ;)

Sometimes you can get an instructor-type to ride along to get one-on-one input. It also says a lot that you realize seat-time is the most important thing now. Good luck!
