If you are doing it to spin your wheels then it's not going to work on FWD car. That only works on RWD because the rear brakes are not as powerful as the front. If you insist on trying to spin your tires than just pull the hand brake all the way up, as far as it will go. But yes even at 2k it causes damage to your trans.

Is there anything I can do to beef-up the parts that it strains? Or is not an option?
