What sorts of problems has your Focus experienced?

this thing will never die! but the problem is, every month, i gotta use more than half my paycheck to fix something different on it! but i understand that the 2000 focuses are the worst year you can get... but i've also herd of some 2000 focuses being vary relyable. mine sure isnt.. haha and the only way the next car sitting in my drive way will be a ford, is if they bring the rs to the states. because i think thats the only practical ford to buy for my taste. seeing that its the only car ford makes with a manual transmittion that you can drive in the snow. but then again, if they want more then 30K for it, i wouldnt get one, seeing that you can get the awd sti for 5k more.. :P

01 ZX3 74,000 miles. Replaced nothing.

My 2003 svt with 51000 miles and its a pretty heafty list.
1. thermostat housing
2. 3 wheel bearings
3. clutch
4. brake caliper sticking
5. drive shaft (my current problem) lol
6. water pump

All those probles and I still love my SVT, I guess thats why im spending money to turbo it! lol

Just the valve cover gasket, and the thermostat housing. I hear thats pretty common. Oh, and a motor mount.

The new tires I put on my SVT are brushing up againts the front fenders. tires are Toyo Proxes 4, 215-45-R17@ 35psi. Has any one had this problem before??

The ones it had before was Toyo Proxes T1R, 215-45-R17, I used to inflate them as recomended in the sticker located by the door frame, 31psi front and 29psi rear .

The guy at the shop where I bought the tires told me that those tires should never be under 35psi

3 times for the clutch pedal position sensor
Water pump
Serpentine belt
Squeak in rear suspension
TSB's:
Rear bumper popping off
Injector ticking (tsb didn't fix it).

On my ST I've had to replace the brakes twice (rotors and pads) in 60K miles, and the AC intake lines twice and struts. Nothing major at all.

I just bought a 2003 Ford Focus SVT. its black w ith black/red leather interior. new lights, battery, spark plugs, upraded clutch, and few more new things. so far i have enjoyed it and it runs awesomely. of course there are some blemishes that need to be dealt with but i am satisfied as of now.
