UPDATE

So, I took my car into Mr. Lube (CDN chain of quick oil change). They offer a service to clean the fuel system and part of the fuel cleaning is to clean the throttle body. The service guy took a look at it and it was very dirty. Unfortunately, they wouldn't just clean the throttle body for me. So, better or worse, I took the fuel cleaning option.

Once it was cleaned and I was out of the shop, the difference was huge. No sticking - clean shifting. Worth the cash for me as I'm not very mechanically inclined. Tho, the service guy did show me how to access the throttle body and it is very easy.

So, kudos to everyone that suggested the tb as the source of the problem.

Thanks everyone.

The 09's have the drive by wire system though.. the higher revs hang, it's an emissions thing
And where'd you get a 09 5 door?
