im actually leaning more to it being a phantom grip lsd. actually isnt the phantom grip setup basically just a shim that you add to the spider gears that pretty much makes the stock open diff into a locker? i wouldnt trust one of those

Im back lol, not sure what kind it is to be honest, as for power, i had the car on a drag radial, i was infront of my house and did a lil pull to see how it hooked, hit 14psi in first, hopped, herd a snap, now the car jerks when i drive... at first i thought i broke the axle(s), i was wrong:( it will be in the for sale section in about ten mins.... no matter what power i make it still wont pull the front wheels....


how much is one of these good lsds?

had 3 fox bodys, the first one was slow, the second one was ok, the 3rd one would almost go on the bumper on a 10.5 with a 5 speed, i locked up the tranz on the highway and it found the wall at 60 mph:(:(:(

torsen or quaife are the only 2 LSD's you need to look at. all the other ones on the market are crap. they can range between 300 and 700 for a torsen and can be up to 900 for the quaife. it just depends if you can find them in overstock or on sale or something like that. the difference between them is that the quaife has a lifetime warranty on the diff, whether it is raced or not, that it will never EVER fail. the torsen does not have this. however ive never heard of anyone ever breaking either of the two LSD's. they are both bullet proof in my opinion
