So i pulled that out and tried to figure out where to buy the relay to run my fogs. Now with the relay i can't have my fogs on independently or with the high beams but i don't have to worry about any wiring catching on fire
So with this relay you can run the Fogs with just your parking lights?

I dont get how eveyone is frying things from doing the fog light mod. Mine is perfectly fine. I've had it done for a year and I do almost all my driving at night so my fogs are always on. Even on 6 hour drives to/from Sacramento or 3 hour canyon runs with my highs on the whole time it doesnt even get hot.

I had no problem with it for about a year or so. I did make sure to use good wire and use wire thick enough to carry the current. I don't know what gauge I used for the mod. When I looked a the mod when I was having issues of flickering and then the fogs didn't work at all, the spades with the crimp in them were melted a little and a small portion of the fuse box where the spades went in was melted too. I'm just not going to take any chances anymore and I bought a relay and did the job the right way.

Reviving this thread.

I have done the stock fog upgrade on my car. My car has the wiring underneath. So I got the fog housings, grill, that relay posted earlier, new bulbs, and the headlight switch and my fogs still won't turn on.

Anyone have an idea as to whats wrong?
