I just saw that jay racing makes a 3" ORP and I was just wondering if that would make more power than the 2.5". Or will it only make more power if you have larger exhaust...if that makes sense.

I have the jay racing 2.5" I LOVE IT. I don't think the 3 " will more power unless you are boosted. And I think you have to have a 3" exhaust. It won't bolt up to the stock IIRC.

P.S. PicaSVT have you heard from dirtbrown? I tried contacting him via visitor message...

Kinda frustrating huh? The thing is that I know he would take the Cat cuz it is in great shape

That is kinda what I figured about the 3" but I had never seen a 3" before so I was curious.

The car came with a magnaflow muffler (not cat-back) so I am interested to see what kind of sound the car will make.

The 3" will bolt to stock headers and exhaust as that’s what I'm running. Doubt there’s any performance increase over 2.5 just went for 3 in the event I go FI in the future "that and I was tired of waiting for CFM to be in stock." Only problem was that larger diameter had the front O'2 senor resting against the tranny which the 1st couple days made an awful noise which must have dented clearance b/c I haven’t heard from it after the 3rd day.

I ordered one from Jay racing as well, these are made to order (not in stock) so when I ordered mine I had them move the front O2 sensor bung back toward the header to ensure clearences.
