Its a PITA!! You have to remove the black piece that is on the inside of the hatch (that covers up all the metal). Then you can see the screws and bolts that are holding it to the car, 2 on left, 2 on right, then you gotta remove the one that is dead center behind the rear wiper motor.. I removed the motor because I thought it was easier, but if you have the right tools you probably wouldn't even have too..

To paint it, just sand it down a bit, prime, sand, prime, sand. When you think your done priming and sanding, prime and sand some more. Then put a couple of layers of the paint. Clear coat it, let it dry, put it back on :D

Either a exhaust system or wheels. I'm not sure, but I know little mods will be coming along soon..
